Understand Our Mission

  • We support projects from Indigenous Associations that seek to restore sovereignty to their people, honoring their culture, traditions, and ancestral knowledge. This is done through the development of projects and resource mobilization, for the purpose of promoting the social and holistic health of Indigenous Peoples.

  • Through relationships built with different ethnic groups of Indigenous peoples in Brazil, we offer a fully personalized service, working directly with the visionaries of these dreams, to facilitate, expedite, and implement the bureaucratic processes involved in the conception, development, and resource mobilization for projects.

  • Our Mission is to nurture the holistic health of Indigenous populations by offering project development and resource mobilization services to Indigenous Associations in Brazil, who are steadfast in their mission to protect, expand, and safeguard their culture, ancestral knowledge, and traditions, all in favor of their sovereignty.

  • We aim to establish an integrative model of project support services within Indigenous territories in Brazil that promotes the health, well-being, and sovereignty of their populations. This model can be easily replicated by different ethnic groups and can also be adopted by and for governmental, private, and civil society organizations.

Our Values

Welcoming

We provide a safe space where people can be heard, supported, and guided without any judgment or discrimination.

Accessibility

We facilitate access for Indigenous Associations in Brazil to bureaucratic services, to assist with project development and resource mobilization.

Integral

We see the individual as a whole—body, mind, and spirit—viewing these as inseparable and indivisible, upholding the sovereignty of Indigenous peoples.

Quality

We are committed to assembling a qualified team that meets the needs of Indigenous Associations.

Equity

Through its intellectual property, the Casa de Cura collaborates with Indigenous peoples in favor of their sovereignty.

Replicability

We prioritize projects from Indigenous Associations that can be applied in various contexts and by other ethnic groups.

Why support

All of our support services for project conception and development are provided voluntarily to Indigenous Associations. This means we contribute countless hours of unpaid work. To continue supporting the Earth’s Guardians, we need financial donations that appreciate and support our work, as well as sustain the organization’s fixed costs and expenses throughout our partnerships with various ethnic groups.
